Apparently, there were miracles around the time of Jesus' death, such as the darkness during the daytime, the tearing of the veil of the temple. How does the statement: "The Guards Mock Jesus" make you feel? I feel humiliated and indignant and sad. Jesus didn't do anything wrong and had never hurt the guards, on the contrary, he had shown his great love to people, but the guards insulted him as fooling a dog. They had no mercy for mild people and they just wreaked their evil in their hearts.

If neither Herod nor Pilate found anything worthy of death to convict Jesus of then why was he sentenced to death? Because Jesus' word showed the darkness inside the priests, the scribes, the elders, and all the other people who were thought as the deputy of God, which brought panic to these "dominant" people. So they hate Jesus to death and were completely determined to kill him, and even in the most cruel way.
