339 entries for this category: The reason is that we have sins which separate us from God so we cannot "see" or "hear" God, neither can we feel God, and that we are continually confused or bothered by evil things around and inside of us. We are blind and helpless and unsure. As a result, we still worry. The way to eliminate worries and anxieties is to read the Bible more, pray to the Lord more and try to feel the Lord Jesus' heart. When we are close to God, we do not worry any more. What was Jesus trying to teach people when He deliberately violated the Sabbath in order to heal people? Jesus was trying to teach people that God set the rules not for confining people but for protecting people. Sabbath was set for people to rest in a week and to get close to God. Anything merciful pleased God because God love mercy and not sacrifice as God loves people.

Why is it that God is so upset with hypocrites? What makes hypocracy so wrong? Because God is honest, just and fair while hypocrites go far away from the honesty and justice that God values. Hypocrisy is wrong because it comes from pride and injustice, which betray love.
