For on the one hand by giving where people can see it you get only men`s admiration and the needy`s thanks,but on the other hand by giving in secret you will get all reward from your Father in heaven,this almsgiving through you is the cause of his

thanksgiving to God and by offering this service,you show him what you are,and that makes him give glory to God for the way you accept and profess the gospel of Christ,and for your sympathetic generosity to him and to all.And his prayers for you,too,show how he is drawn to you on account of all the grace that God has given you.(2Corinthians 9:11-14)
