For Hebrews frequently cites the Old Testament in order that he proves that Jesus is Christ,then you must read in the contexts of the Old Testament his demonstrations.Anyway Jesus forbits oaths of human beings in the Old Testament.James obeys Jesus perfectly(5:12).

Why is it evil to use oaths? For oaths are bringed about by offering existences (including head) being superior to human beings as securities to others,then they mean arrogances of human beings
