Indeed Our Father In Heaven Is So Powerful

You may think I'm joking but it is true, in my beloved South Africa there are many churches where they say " our father (name of a living human-being) is greater and they bow down to him. When they intercede they do it via his name. So this is the practises of Baal Peor. Prayer is the powerful weapon that the devil hates to hear. I agree with scripture that prayer must be secretive, but when you are so influctuated with Jesus you pray anywhere, everytime and not to be seen. The are some times you can feel that the devil know your prayer and it doesn't go through. It is through this time that intance of beginning with our father in heaven, you begin your prayer with For your is the Kingdom, the power and the glory. The devil is very smart, so we need to be very smart when we pray. Short or long prayer, God is the judge and He hears our prayers.

A Giving Hand Is Blessed

It is very true that the giving needs to be secretive as possible. I prepared my tithing and tried to promote giving to my fellow friends as I showed them that it is good and just to tithe evry money that you received. It became a big thing that turned to haunt me. Because even those who taught I was poor, said they will never give me their gifts because I have a lot of money that I even give free will at church. So they did as said. they never gave me free lifts in their cars again, when they see me they turned their faces the other side. It became a norm to me, I was not worried about their gifts, but I was worried about their giving which seems to be evil. Today, people help the need at church and proclaim to everyone that they help you.We don't need the blessings of the earth when we give, but we need the blessings of God.

LOVE YOUR ENEMIES AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF

We oath to practise what we preach. How many times you pass your neighbour because you accuse him or her of witchcraft or plots against you? How many times you avoid to greet certain individuals at church because you consider them as your enemies? Christian better do an introspection of yourself and I assure you that so many of us will be victims of not loving our enemies. David urged God to bless Saul and God to show his servant his greatness and strong hand. When Saul was looking for his head, David ask God to make his enemies his footstool. He never went to battle with Saul. When Saul was dead, he made sure Saul's name doesn't end by offering land for Nathan lame son. How many of us are happy when our enemies are getting troubles? How many hands at church that you duck because you don't want to shake hands with your enemies? We need to be a good examples of Christ Ambassadors.
