What does Jesus mean that "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted"? It means we have no qualifications to be proud since we are finite. Father God is all-mighty while He is not proud or vain, how can we, human beings, to be so? We shoud be humble as the Lord Jesus has shown us. Humble people are highly valued by God and are exalted. And proud people will be reminded or teached by the Lord to know that vanity is hated by God and they have to be humble.

Jesus answers that to be saved, it is not enough for the person to know the Lord, rather the Lord needs to know the person. What does this mean? I think it means we must live in the christian way and be recognized as a Christian by the Lord Jesus, can we enter the Heaven, or we would not be able to live in the Heaven since we were another kind of group.
