What is authority, and how did Jesus demonstrate authority in his teachings and actions?

Jesus has the power not only to expel an Evil Spirit from people,but also the power on earth to forgive sins.All authority(power,exousia) in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus(Matt 28:18).Jesus was proclaimed Son of God in all his power through his resurrection from the death.(Rome 1:4) Ultimate regality belongs to Jesus as "King of kings,and Lord of lords"(1 Tim.6:15) We define the totality of authority as being legislative,judicial,and executive.Jesus possesses all three: He is the lawgiver(Acts 3:22,23),judge(2Cori.5:10),and the Executor(Matt.28:18,19)
