Jesus taught that both believing and forgiving are key to effective prayer. Why do you think they are important? Effective prayer is not spell,incantation,or magic but asking personally God to be trusted.You must believe in the living God of force,God of Abraham,Isaac,Jacob and the Exodus and etc. And Jesus teaches you to forgive and love your enemies.If not ,your prayer would destroy them by Him.this is powerless prayer.For appropriately to children of God,you must pray for the will of God to be accomplished.That will become effective prayer.

Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words? Jesus`clean of temple means his premonition of abolition of offerings and sacrifices in the Old Testament.But by his only one sacrifice God`house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.Isaiah 56:7
