1581 entries for this category: I think it was the teachings of Jesus that led Joseph to be a disciple of his. I think Joseph realized that Jesus died to save us including himself. I think he loved Jesus and lived his life according to Gods word. Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Because Jesus promised that He will ask the Father,and he will give you another to be your advocate,who will be with you for ever...the Spirit of truth,and anyone who loves him will heed what He says; then His Faher will love you,and They will come to you and make their dwelling with you.God of Trinity comes to you and makes His home with you if you love one another.John14:15-23

What about Jesus` death impressed the Centurian so much that He realized Jesus was the Son of God? The obvious answer would be the Earthquake, the Temple Veil being torn in two, the rocks splitting and the raising of the Saints from their tombs. I can't help but think the Centurion and those watching Jesus already beleived that Jesus was the Son of God. The person that gives Jesus a drink as he cries out for Elijah tells me that many of the people there already beleived in Jesus, but were waiting for that final sign from God to seal the deal if you will.
