Because healing people's diseases in the spirit is more important than healing those in the body. Health in the spirit leads to the road back home in the Heaven with Father God forever. And Jesus was sent for preaching the good news.

What is the role of the Holy Spirit during Jesus` challenge with the devil? The Holy Spirit was fully filled inside Jesus. Jesus thought, spoke and acted fully in the guidance of the Holy Spirit as if the latter was the light upon Jesus' head. And also the Holy Spirit comforted and strengthened Jesus when he was weak. And when he was in need of power, the Holy Spirit empowered him. The Holy Spirit was the lead, the counselor and the supplier of Jesus.
