In your own words, write down what the phrase, "good news of God" means?

It means there is a good news coming from God, the Creator, that we, who are created by but betrayed God, are no longer separated from Him any more. He has sent His only Son into our world to open the gate of the prison which confines us and lead us to get out of the prison and to go back Home in Heaven, where we come from. The "good news of God" is that our sins are forgiven and we can come home although we are not clean but we are cleaned by Jesus, the Son of God, as long as we believe in him and accept his deliverance.

Jesus wanted to show a good example among people: he was the Son of God and had no sins, still he was baptized, so who else can be exceptional if they want to be forgiven and to repent? Jesus showed us that we all should fulfill all righteousness. He is modest and humble. He is our good example. Hallelujah!

If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was "the Son of God", what would you include in that report?

Since the Rome audience were interested in power instead of the Messiah, a man with the supreme power would be better accepted and thought of. The man's genealogy and thoughts would not be paid too much attention. Hence, to the Roman audience, I would include Jesus' incredible miracles to show how powerful He was to a degree that no other man could compare and to show that He was just "the Son of God" who created and managed the universe and who had the supreme power.
