Fear for futher loss may have motivated this response, but also the fact that a powerful force was at work in their mist that they could not comprehended.

Jesus Calms the Storm Who is this ? In view of what Jesus had just done, the only answer to this rhetorical wuestion was He is the very Son of God! God`s presence, as welll as his power, was demonstrated as Mark indicates his answer to this question in the openinng line of his Gospel''1:v1'' By such miracles Jesuss sought to establish and increase the disciples` faith in his diety.
