Indeed, the foundation of wisdom is being practising the word of God. The bible says, "He knows our thoughts and actions" so we need to be doing the teachings of Jesus and we won't be foolish builders. However, if we only do some and disobey some of his teachings we will be like a building or wall of a house that has cracks, which depicts that the foundation is strong but the belief is not complete so it has cracks.
