What was Mary feeling right before Jesus´ birth? Note: She is described here as an unwed pregnant woman, who was forced to travel away from her family, only to deliver her baby in a barn? Mary said to the angel Gabriel,`I am the handmaid of the Lord,let what you have said be done to me.` For the angel had said to her that the Holy Spirit will come upon you,and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow.And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God.for nothing is impossible to God.`

Define "Salvation" ? Note how Zachariah (the father of John the Baptist) praises God for fulfilling an old promise (oath/covenant) that "we...should serve him (God) without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life." To give his people knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins;(1)this by the tender mercy of our God (2) who from on high will bring the rising Sun to visit us,(3) to give light to those who live in darkness and the shadow of death.(4) and to guide our feet into the way of peace.
