Why did Jesus cry out, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?" Note: This is a direct quote from the Jewish Scripture, Psalm 22:1.

Because Jesus verified that his God forsook him,and yet predicted that by it and his resurrection kingly power belongs to the Lord,and dominion over the nations is his.(Psalm 22:28)

Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.

Because Old Testament is the Mirror of New Testament,especially Isaiah,the Second Isaiah(ch.40-ch.55).In Old Testament too there is the history of holy salvation of mankind.Isaiah 53 is the target of our redemption by Jesus Christ.

"Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?"

If Jesus will,I want not only to be his witness in my little world, but also go into all the world making disciples and teaching them to obey Jesus.Although I kwow suficiently that I have no power to do so in myself.
