Why did Jesus instruct his followers to react passively when attacked? Because Jesus asks for us to follow his own life.But Jesus Christ is both Savior and Judge.He also asks for us to battle in order to protect justice and peace.

Why is it evil to use oaths? Because Oath before God is good.Especially of Marriage.In this case Oath is the human Response toward Challenge of God.Then oath in my sense is Cry and Prayer.Ant it means approval of covenant between man and God.
