Herod Antipas,son of Herod the great had reigned over Galilee(B.C.4-A.D.39).There were not only Jew but also several corporate towns .But Antipas was Jew.And then what does mean Galiliee of the Gentiles at that time ? Does it mean that Jews containing Antipas were in fact under the control of Roman Empire? But did not Roman power reach not only Galiliee but throuhout Palestine?

How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light? Even were He to walk through a valley of deepest darkness,Jesus should fear no harm,for the Father God is with him(Psalms 23:4).Jesus is the light of the world.No follower of Jesus shall walk in darkness;For he shall have the light of life!(John8:12)
