Why did Jesus instruct his followers to react passively when attacked? For God turned the evil of humans to good by his design,so that he might bring about the deliverance of numerous people(Genesis 50:20-21).So resist evil and conquer it with good.That is,love your enemy.Thus you heap red-hot coals on his head.Jesus instructed his followers to react positively but not passively when attacked. Anger and vengeance belong to God,but not to humans.Entrust your vengeance to God.Then you must leave to what kind of good the evil of humans turns, to God.
