Why is giving in secret more to be commended that giving where people can see it? Secretly giving fill u with joy and happiness and the real reward is given openly by our lovingly father in heaven..and the value of giving remains high forever.

Why is giving in secret more to be commended that giving where people can see it? We should show mercy to the people or to extend the helping hand to the needies for the sake of support to them and not to earn name or fame from our act of kindness. Whatever we give to the needy in secret without doing any publicity automatically is known to the Almighty God, the Father who in turn rewards us. The Father does not like publicity for any kind of merciful action.
