How does a person abide in Jesus` word?

By abiding by the commandment of God and acting on the teachings of Jesus. Although we are not perfect, yet we can try to be near the God by our deeds and thoughts.

Why didn`t Jesus condemn the woman caught in adultery?

God never wants that the sinners are perished. He wanted that only sin be perished. However, the sinner should repent and should not repeat the sin. That is why Jesus did not condemn the woman caught in adultery. Secondly, he wanted to warn the people ready to stone her that they didnot have the right to punish the sinner because they had also committed the sin in one form or the other. Thirdly, she was not only to be condemned. What about the persons who were the partners with her in the adultry. Jesus did not want that only the weaker section is punished and influential sinners are got scot free. He give a chance to the woman with the advice not to repeat the sin.
