When we sin and we ask forgiveness from God and we know that God has forgiven us, it increases our love for God. Out of love for us, Abba Father, sent His One and Only Son Jesus, who died on the Cross to save us from sin. When we look at the Cross and see Our Saviour and Lord crucified for our sins, it gives us the strength to do our best to keep ourselves away from sin, so that we do not displease our Heavenly Father, who sacrified His Son to save us from sin.

How do Jesus` words make you feel? You may want to save your answer as "Private Jesus always talks to me either thru newsletters that i receive in my email, newspaper, friends, children, Bible channels on TV, etc etc.. The very feeling when He talks to me is the wonderful feeling of assurance " If God be for us, who can be against us"

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. God Himself has told us to forgive 70 times 7. This is pretty tough for us humans. We keep on committing the same sin over and over but our Father in Heaven forgives us all the times and if we have to keep a count it will be more than 70 times 7. The proof that He has forgiven is that we are alive. By this we can understand his Love towards every human. By forgiving (not thru words) others from deep down of our heart itself creates the love for that person. When we can easily forgive mistakes of our children and siblings why not forgive others ? This increases the love for others too like Jesus and the forgiven person finds Jesus' character in us.
