What about Jesus` death impressed the Centurian so much that He realized Jesus was the Son of God?

Those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God."

I would thank Him for bringing me close to Him, the many wonderful things He is doing in my life. The way He is constantly by my side. I would tell Him how I adore Him and lastly but not the least, I would thank HIM for being my GOD.
