Galileans were leading a sinful life and through Jesus teachings peopled repented and become worthy of the Kingdom of God hence Jesus coming into Galilee is like light coming into a dark place.  All Jesus teachings are light in a perso's life.  Most important of them was "Love one another as I have loved you"  If we love one another as Jesus loves us, then we will not comit any sin or wrong against anyone.
