Why did Jesus use the greeting. "Peace be to you"? Was there special signiificance in this greeting? Because Jesus knew that the disciples were afraid and there was no peace in their mind because of his crucification and the mockery of jews. Special significance of this greeting is that Jesus gives us peace under all circumstances.

Why do you think Jesus chose, after he rose, to show Himself first to Mary Magdalene? Because she is still weeping for him without being aware he is resurrected. It shows our Jesus is very compassionate.
