Jesus emphasizes the phrase "in my name" when refering to the miracle and giving a cup of water. What does it mean to do something in Jesus` name?

Well! I understand this way: "in My name" If I want to draw money from my bank, I have to issue a cheque signed by me. If my husband or children sign it, the bank will not release the money. because the account is in my name.

Jesus Lord God of heaven and earth came down from heaven and died to save you and me. Abba Father accepts the sacrifice of His Son. HE placed Jesus high above all and said that salvation is only through the name of Jesus. Therefore Jesus emphasises the phrase "in My Name" as no other name can reward you in heaven or earth

Jesus took three of his disciples to the top of a mountain to experience dead prophets now alive, and a voice from a cloud saying, "This is my beloved Son, listen to him." If you were one of the disciples, what impact would this experience have on you?

It is difficult to answer. Jesus took only three of His Disciples. who He knew were able to experience this revealation of Jesus. . So if I were there and Jesus took me with Him, knowing that I would be able to respond to this great revealation. I am sure, I would have prostrated before Him and said, My God, my Lord" halleluia!!
