What was Jesus trying to teach the disciples? Note: Jesus left twelve baskets full when he fed the 5000 people on the Israel side (Israel had 12 main regions or tribes).

Jesus was trying to teach the disciples about spiritual awareness not to be like Pharisees who worship God only outwardly.

I understand, the question as this? If I were living in those days? Well , i am not sure. But now !! It took me 70 years to get the revelation that Jesus is God. I knew it. But knowing and revelation are two different things. It is the love of Jesus, dying on the cross for me, that Jesus forgave me a wretch and gave me the right to be His daughter, His forgiveness, The experience of the nearness of Jesus when I talk to Himand most of the tme I hear His voicemaking me so happy that I cry. I need no signs, I know and I know that Jesus is God. Halleluia!!
