In the ancient times, Jesus used to treat the patients and infirm people by doing physical healing or touch. Now He bestows His blessings by way of spiritual healings. Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him? he wants to tell them clearly that to follow him and his path, a pure dedicated heart is required which is not surrounded by worldly and fleshy desire but only the spiritual spirit
