What makes it so difficult to love our enemies? Bonus Question: What happens when we love our enemies?

It is difficult to love our enemies with our worldly human nature. Because enemy does bad things to us, harm us and many unpleasant things.

But as Jesus said that love your enemies, pray for those who hurt us, if we follow them we will have great reward from God, the heavenly father.

Since God is such a generous giver, what is there that you (personally) should be asking Him for?

But Jesus answered them, "My Father is working still, and I am working." St.John,5;17.

My only request to God is to permit me too to participate in His working.

Since God is such a generous giver, what is there that you (personally) should be asking Him for?

I would personally ask God for the Holy Spirit to guide me in my prayers when I pray, seeking to know Him and His purpose for me for me in this life.
