Why is it that God is so upset with hypocrites? What makes hypocracy so wrong? God is upset with hypocrites because hypocrisy is the root of pride, a hypocrite thinks that he is perfect and all others are sinners, This gives rise to hatred of fellow humans as he sees a fault in everyone. It becomes thus impossible to love your neighbour and Satan gets a hold on you.
