He meant that everything was complete .He is the alpha and the omega the before his coming there was our sin which made us incomplete and fall short of God's grace.but its our Lord Jesus who brought us back to God by purchasing us with his blood & forgiving us for our sins thus completing the work he had come for in this earth .
