God abides in Jesus and if we abide in Him, we shall win the Love of God and have eternal life.

How valuable do we consider the lowly - how do we treat those who are lesser than us - the people who serve us and do the jobs that we feel are below our high dignity? How do we treat the poor who stand before us with pleading eyes and hungry bellies? How do we treat those who we know live in sin? What steps do we take to help them - or do we just sit in judgement?

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? Yes Jesus does believe that the lowly people are valuable because the lowly are generally the poor, the downtrodden, the weak ones in society who have no standing of their own - those shunned by society because they don't have the means to show off their fancy clothes or eat what the rich do ... Jesus believes that the lowly have pure hearts... that they are purified by their sufferings; that they are generous and give freely whatever they have .. they are willing to share with their neighbour and are always there to stand by those in need and Jesus states that whoever accepts them as they are would be accepting Him and in accepting Him they are accepting the one who sent Him - God the Father. Jesus says, blessed are the lowly for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
