I am a Mechanical Engineer born and brought up in an orthodox Catholic Family.I retired recently.After retirement I have a small ambition which I kept close to my heart for the last 40 years:To find out Who exactly Christ is?. Now I am at it. I am spending about 15 hours a day in search of the answer. The following question arises out of my present attempt. I have put up this question to many. But I did not yet get a satisfactory answer so far. I am happy and proud that I am a Catholic and I do try to follow my Religion and its teachings as much as I can. I have an inquisitive mind. Certain narratives in the Bible mystify me and so I was after them for elucidation so long. One narrative is given below: And he took bread, and when he had given thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me” And likewise the cup after supper, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood”. Luke 22; 19 &20. (The Holy Bible, Revised Standard Edition: London Catholic Truth Society) Can you give me a clarification with respect to: (1) What is the rapport between the bread and the body of Christ as well as the wine and HIS blood? Once I discussed it with one of my friend priests. He told me it is so because Christ said it, indirectly implying that “just believe; no question!” I am thoroughly disgruntled. What I know about Jesus

Jesus is the Son of God. He performed many miracles.He preached Love for all-even for the enemy. He was persecuted as he was following and preaching truth and Righteousness. He atoned for the sins of all of us.Even today, People who are harrased because they are righteous and truthful, can take heart from Jesus' life and message.Truth will prevail. Jesus is God and God is Jesus, we are sheep and he is the Shepherd.
