Why did Jesus answer a question with a question, rather than just telling the Pharisees by what authority He acted? Jesus already knew their bad intention for asking Him question. So, he answered them wisely by questioning them back.

If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was the Son of God, what would you include in that report? Jesus is son of God.We all must believe Him as He performs miracles.He relieves from physical pains.He raises people from dead.He heals handicapped.
Only son of God can do it.
