The Birth of Jesus Foretold

The angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee and met the virgin, Mary. Having come in, the angel said to her, ``Rejoice, you highly favored one! The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women!`` Gabriel predicted Jesus as ``He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. There will be no end to his Kingdom.``

The Death of Jesus

Jesus crucified on the cross bearing the sin of the whole world. God never love sin. At the same time, God loves sinner. Hence He sent His only son to this world. In the cross, Jesus felt that He was forsaken by His Father as He was undertaken the sin of the whole world. Jesus cried out loudly, as He felt the lonliness, pain, illness etc because of the sin.
