Here we can see an woman, she had lost everything, and now she has nothing in her life. She believed in Jesus and she 100% put her faith on Jesus. She told herself what she believed. She didn`t do an experiment. She didn`t think about the consequences, if she touches Jesus` clothes. What ever may be the situation, that woman had good belief that she would be made well. That is faith. This faith allowed power to flow from Jesus even without His initiative.

Jesus at Gadarenes People residing at that region heard about the news and became very much frightened. They feared and expected some bad incidents in their region. They saw that many pigs were died. There is a chance of dying their cattles also. Another thing, they thought that Jesus healed the demon-possessed person through ruler of the demon. They feared that Jesus has demon in Him. We had already studied the same questions from the scribes in Mark Chapter-3. Hence the people requested Jesus to leave their region after they heard about the pigs.

Faith Vs Fear The disciple`s fear before the storm was the fear for their life. Eventhough Jesus had with them in the boat, they were afraid and woke up Jesus, who was sleeping in the boat. This shows that, the disciples had no enough faith in Jesus, who is the creator of sea and wind also. Their fear after the storm, in the bible it says that they were greatly afraid, which arose by seeing Jesus` power and authority over the wind and sea. Their faith in Jesus increased, after this incidence. If we have fear, the faith will not work.
