She never left like the other disciples. Instead she was crying for her Lord. Jesus chose to reveal to her because she was faithfully devoted to Him. What is the blessing that comes to those who have not seen and yet believe? To know that Jesus is indeed the Son of God and he conquered death.

Why did Jesus use the greeting. "Peace be to you"? Was there special signiificance in this greeting? Jesus knew that His disciples were afraid of the Jews. His disciples have seen on how Jesus was mocked and flogged. Therefore Jesus gave them the Holy Spirit so that they might find peace with the truth and not fear and lies.
