The common people are praising Jesus, expecting him to become Israel`s next king. Jesus knew they would turn against him a few days later when he disappointed their expectation. Do you have expections of Jesus which he did not promise?

Yes, I did. I wanted Jesus to stop me from making the wrong choices. Actually even if He did, I would have still carried on making the wrong choices because I wasn't listening to Him and did not obey his Word. I used to be caught up in worldly pleasures. Now, I am learning to trust in Him to lead and guide me. I am also learning to be patient. And God has blessed me tremendously. Praise God!

Jesus knew he would be killed in Jerusalem, and still he led the way. What characteristics does Jesus demonstrate here?

He shows courage, obedience to God, the Father, a strong will and compassionate love for His people. He is also a perfect leader who led by example to His disciples and believers.

How does Jesus define greatness, and is caring for a little child an example of greatness?

A mother's love shows greatness. A friend of mine had given birth and she told me that it was a life changing experience for her. She described to me that she had never before felt so much love for anyone. The child must be a very special child. I also remember the time I worked at the airport and a mother was telling off her son. She said "Children are meant to be seen and not heard". The child was scolded for talking. The child was not being rude. I should have told the mother off but didn't interfere for fear of losing my job. I pray the child grows up knowing that Christ cares...
