How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment? First Jesus showed us love.This love is so special that it was not given to us because of our achievements or victories on earth.He gave to us because we were sick with sin and wanted to give us a life of righteous.He was the truth,way and life to the Father.When we believed in Him our love for Him developed and grew.Our intimacy with Him knew no limit.We obeyed Him because He drew us out from darkness.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss? I would ask that I remain in Him so that the pull of the world will not take hold of me because I have not finished the Father's great commission, and would eventually like to dwell in His house.
