Jews remembered this day with a feast of unleavened bread. Jesus was implying his crucification on the cross and his death to give salvation for mankind.

Why does Jesus encourage focusing on the daily task at hand and discourage predicting the future? Jesus encourages focusing on daily task at hand so that we are prepared for our last day of judgement and be vigilant for we dont know when is that day. Predicting the future is not for us to know because our lives are in the hands of God who plans for us.

What was Jesus trying to teach about giving (amount, motive, attitute)? Jesus tried to tell us that the spirit of giving is more important than the quantity you give.The woman gave away everything she needed to live but the rich, though gave abundantly did not give all they had.
