"Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?) Jesus did not provoke any about his death,in fact when he was praying at the Garden of Gethsemane , he tried to request God to pass the cup of sin from him because in his human capacity he cant take such dirty evils inside the cup and he doesn't deserve to take it but christ was so obedient to the will of God till his point of death.The death of Christ was already foretold along time ago.
