Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward? Jesus had to forgive the man's sins first to cleanse him and heal him first spiritually before He healed him physically. Because thats how God wants it, for us to be cleansed and healed first of our sins thru God's forgiveness and mercy before we will be healed physically. Its our spirit first over our physical body.

Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people? The main reason why Jesus was sent here was to preach, to share the word of God and not to heal the physical sickness of the people but more on the spiritual aspect.
