What did Jesus imply by saying, "This is my blood of the new coveneant, which is poured out for many."? Consider that the Passover was a Jewish festival that remembered when a plague of death "passed over" the home of those Jewish people who marked their doors with blood from a lamb. Jews remembered this day with a feast of unleavened bread. I believe that Jesus meant that it is thru His blood, thru His sacrifice and death, that we were saved and redeemed of our sins. That it is in His death that we were reborn and made new. All we need to do is believe and trust in Him and accept Him as He is, our God and Saviour!

Why does Jesus consider this woman`s desire to please Jesus more important than giving to the poor? as Jesus said, u can always do good to the poor anytime but its a rare opportunity to serve and please Jesus.......
