What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? I was a bit surprised to learn that the economic setting in Jesus' time is more well off than today. Carpenters then belong to the middle class but today they are rated as the lower class citizens. Am glad & proud to know that my deceased biological father's work is similar to what Jesus did (carpentry) when He is still here on earth.
