Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.

Jesus has to fulfill that for our salvation and for the fulfillment on what the scriptures have written.

When Peter realised he had denied knowing Jesus, why did he cry?

He cried because of guilt and that he remembered that Jesus was really the savior because even things that are going to happen jesus knows it.
