3657 entries for this category: During Jesus time with his disciples..Jesus predicted his death for about 50 times...and He even told them that on the third day he will rise again..then it happened Jesus was crusified and died on the cross to save us and fulfill the word on the scriptures starting from the time of Moses until Jesus time...it was all done. Yes surely it will booost my confidence in his words and promises...Knowing Jesus is alive..and he will remain in my heart as my personal saviour and GOD,SENT BY OUR FATHER GOD. Man is a natural doubting Thomas. In order for him to believe, the prophecies must be fulfilled and be witnessed. One good example is the apostle Thomas. He had already heard and been told that Jesus was risen but he did not believe until Jesus appeared to him personally and he asked to be shown Jesus' hands to verify the wounds of the nails. Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

Why were fulfillment of prophecies important? "note: Jesus predicted his death and resurrection? "...saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again...". There are also many accounts in the old testament describing the death and resurrection of the Messiah hundreds to thousands of years before the event.

How does The tender/respectful care of Jesus`s body given by Joseph of Arimathaea make you feel? It makes me glad that there were people like Joseph of Arimathea during that period who still cared and had concern for Jesus. Simultaneously, it makes me feel deeply grateful.
