How does the statement: "The Guards Mock Jesus" make you feel? It makes me angry - very angry. But then I remember that Jesus would not want that. He is always ready to forgive transgressions. Then I feel ashamed.

In this account Jesus healed the servants ear. Why did he do such a seemingly small thing while he was being arrested? He loves everyone and wants to make them whole so He healed the servant's ear despite the circumstances. What mattered was the servant's well being than His own.
