He who loves God truly cannot but love his neighbor and he who loves his neighbor sincerely, loves God. and these two loves cannot be separated. Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? Jesus call love one another a new commandment because he wanted the people to know that we are his disciples. And also he wanted us to realize that we should not be contented because Jesus loves us we must also love one another in order to comply with the law and the prophet.
