Why did Jesus say, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God"? Dead are dead they cannot hear God's word while it's better to focus on those who are still living for they can still be relieved from sin and claim salvation.

Why did Jesus say, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God"? When you decide to follow Jesus, there is no looking back at things and loved ones that you are leaving behind.
