Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward? Jesus wants to show people that thru Forgiving sins and faith in HIM any sickness will be healed, not by healing power that people may believe but through FAITH in GOD.

Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward? Jesus' mission on earth was to preach the Good News, forgive sinners and offer everyone salvation. Healing was a bonus to sinners and the afflicted that He bestowed. Thus, He forgives first and then heals afterwards.
