I would like to think that my heart has some good soil with parts of it rocky , hard and thorny.  I say this because my journey to becoming a Christian has had its ups and downs. Very similar to the good soil receiving the word and prospering, but some of the word fall into the rocky parts, some into the thorny part and they just disintegrate.  It's like I go one step forward or uphill and then I slide back a little and then begin again.
